Take a lick of your edible entry stamp and step into a world of adventure.

Part of our Eat Your Art Out series where we create edible artworks, Dessert Lands was a cocktail and dessert experience with desserts & drinks inspired by the wonderful Wellington Region.

Set against a backdrop of art by Jacqueline Fahey at the New Zealand Portrait Gallery,  Dessert Lands was a multi-sensory feast, with each item not only inspired by a Wellington landmark but also one of the five senses.

Delicacies included: a glowing Matiu/Somes Island Jelly, made from layers of fizzy elderflower and raspberry milk gel; a Salted sunset Cocktail that bubbled from a fountain, Botanical Cakes and Cocktails set amongst the sound of NZ Bird song and  a spiced dark chocolate wine lake inspired by Wairarapa and many more…

This was a cocktail & dessert bar with a difference!
